PARTNERS

New Hanover County:

allocated $2.45 million for a new grocery store, which will receive ongoing financial and logistical support post-opening.

The City of Wilmington:

contributed a parcel of land owned by the city for the construction of the grocery store.

Seven Roots:

a seasoned group of grocery retail experts, has been instrumental in guiding our project since 2022, providing invaluable expertise in design, operations, and overall development.

a nonprofit focused on the health and development of the Northside community, specifically focused on youth development and violence prevention. VOYAGE is acting as the Co-op’s fiscal agent while the organization works toward 501c3 status

ADVISORY BOARD

The Advisory Board was formed this winter when certain Board Members, despite being unable to commit the time, continued to support and champion the project. They sought to apply their skills in a more focused manner.
