What Does it Mean to be a Member?

The community grocery store extends a warm invitation to everyone for shopping, dining, and socializing. All Wilmington residents are encouraged to become members of the grocery store, and anyone in North Carolina can become a member. Members, play a pivotal role in shaping the construction and operation of the store. Moreover, members actively contribute to the cooperative’s progress, participating in planning committees, volunteering at community events, and participating in the election of our board of directors.

Currently, members are the driving force behind the co-op’s development, taking active steps to make it a reality. Their involvement in the planning process is essential. In return, members will enjoy exclusive benefits within the store. These perks include special discounts, activities, and other privileges. The collaborative efforts of our members are instrumental in creating a vibrant and community-driven grocery store experience.
